Amitabh Bachchan Revisits Favorite Childhood Lone Ranger Comics, Says He Looks Like Tonto Now
Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan often treats his fans with his photos and interesting captions on social media. On Saturday, the actor remembered his school years and shared a childhood memory. He recalled that he was a fan of The Lone Ranger comics in the 1950s.
“Remembering the school days in the 50s and my favorite ‘The Lone Ranger’ comics and his deputy Tonto,” adding that he never thought he would one day start to look like to Deputy Tonto, the main character of the series. “I never thought that 71 years later, I would start to look like my favorite! ” he wrote.
The first edition of Lone Ranger was released in 1945 as Dell Comics with around 145 issues. The comic has also inspired a few films based on its theme and the main characters.
Big B also tweeted about how the “GenNEXT” believes in the protest. “GenNext’s new mantra .. EVENT..say it, write it down, record it .. and it happens .. !! “Every day, in every way, I’m getting better and better .. ‘AND .. it’s supposed to happen .. So they say and believe,” the tweet read.
The veteran actor also spoke on Friday about how fan behavior has changed over the years. He shared a throwback photo featuring a girl, who seemed overjoyed to meet Amitabh Bachchan. “… The time when fans were expressing love and appreciation like the one this little one did .. so grateful .. just look at his expression .. now it’s just an emoji !!! .. !!!! ! .. if you are lucky, ”he wrote in the caption.
On the work side, Amitabh Bachchan will soon be back on the sets of GoodBye, a director of Vikas Bahl, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna.
