Catch and study snowflakes with the Adams County Public Library’s Imagination Lab. This program is for all ages; however, smaller children will need adult assistance. This program will last the month of January. In this program you will catch and see snowflakes on black construction paper. You will also need a magnifying glass (optional), warm winter clothes, and snowfall. You will keep the black paper in the freezer until it starts to snow. When it snows, put on your winter clothes and take out the frozen paper. Hold the black paper flat so you can catch the falling snowflakes. Tip: Hold your paper by the edges so your hands don’t melt the snowflakes. Once you’re done catching the snowflakes, look at them with your magnifying glass. Discover their similarities and differences and write them down on a sheet of paper. Head to libraries for seasonal crafts to take home.
